</div><p>Hi everyone! We&apos;re thrilled to take you on a behind-the-scenes journey of our latest adventure&#x2014;launching Snaju&#x2019;s new datacenter, which we&#x2019;ve proudly established at TRG Houston, the chosen home for our Houston operations. This project has been a labor of love, filled with challenges and triumphs, and it&apos;s also where we introduced DartNode, our exciting new subsidiary that&#x2019;s already shaking up the wholesale compute scene.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Beginning:</strong></p><p>Our story starts in what became our mission control&#x2014;the Snaju Houston conference room. Here, surrounded by whiteboards filled with schematics and tables laden with hardware, we laid the foundation for what would become a fully operational datacenter. These early days were all about planning, testing, and lots of coffee. We wanted to make sure everything was perfect, from airflow to data security. The photos from this time show us buried in servers and cables, but every wire and every widget was a step towards something great.</p><figure class="kg-card kg-image-card kg-card-hascaption"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_2341.jpg" class="kg-image" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" loading="lazy" width="1279" height="719" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/IMG_2341.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w1000/2024/05/IMG_2341.jpg 1000w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_2341.jpg 1279w" sizes="(min-width: 720px) 720px"><figcaption><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Snaju Conference Room</span></figcaption></figure><p><strong>Deployment and Expansion:</strong></p><p>What began in a modest half rack at TRG Houston quickly grew to a full rack thanks to our team&apos;s hard work and dedication to provide high-quality services to our end customers. Expanding our capacity wasn&#x2019;t just about adding more hardware&#x2014;it was about scaling our dreams. The images of us installing racks and routing cables aren&#x2019;t just pictures of people at work; they&#x2019;re snapshots of moments where every screw and setting mattered.</p><figure class="kg-card kg-image-card kg-card-hascaption"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_2397-1.jpg" class="kg-image" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" loading="lazy" width="1279" height="719" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/IMG_2397-1.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w1000/2024/05/IMG_2397-1.jpg 1000w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_2397-1.jpg 1279w" sizes="(min-width: 720px) 720px"><figcaption><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Rene Herrera (Left) and Zackary Pedersen (Right) work on deploying the first 1/2 Rack</span></figcaption></figure><p><strong>Technology and Infrastructure:</strong></p><p>We packed our datacenter with the latest tech&#x2014;servers that hum quietly even as they process mountains of data, security systems that watch over our operations like digital guardians, and cooling systems that keep everything chill. We&#x2019;re proud of the robust infrastructure we&#x2019;ve built. It&#x2019;s designed not just for today&apos;s demands but for tomorrow&#x2019;s possibilities.</p><figure class="kg-card kg-image-card kg-card-hascaption"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_2705.jpg" class="kg-image" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" loading="lazy" width="1279" height="959" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/IMG_2705.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w1000/2024/05/IMG_2705.jpg 1000w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_2705.jpg 1279w" sizes="(min-width: 720px) 720px"><figcaption><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">One of our Core Network Switches</span></figcaption></figure><p><strong>Networking Capabilities:</strong></p><p>As an ARIN Network Operator, our connections in Houston are something special. We peer with multiple providers to ensure that our network is as resilient as it is fast. This setup allows us to handle huge data volumes effortlessly, making sure our clients&apos; operations run smoothly, no matter the load. Excitingly, we are also launching a Snaju Internet Exchange point in Houston. This new initiative will bring even more connectivity options to the area, enhancing our ability to serve businesses with even lower latencies and more reliable connections. Additionally, Snaju currently operates a robust IPv4 and IPv6 network, boasting over 2,048 IPv4 addresses and a staggering 75 million IPv6 addresses in allocation, ensuring ample capacity for scalability and future growth.</p><p></p><figure class="kg-card kg-image-card kg-card-hascaption"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/99e56327-86dc-4ff2-a801-47e1a39e2389-1.jpg" class="kg-image" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" loading="lazy" width="691" height="691" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/99e56327-86dc-4ff2-a801-47e1a39e2389-1.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/99e56327-86dc-4ff2-a801-47e1a39e2389-1.jpg 691w"><figcaption><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Zackary Pedersen connecting cross connects to 2 backbone providers</span></figcaption></figure><p><strong>Team and Culture:</strong></p><p>None of this would be possible without our dedicated team, whose efforts and collaboration were crucial throughout the deployment process. The images reflect the spirit of teamwork and dedication that Snaju prides itself on. From the technical staff to the support teams, every member played a pivotal role in bringing the Houston datacenter to life.</p><p></p><figure class="kg-card kg-gallery-card kg-width-wide"><div class="kg-gallery-container"><div class="kg-gallery-row"><div class="kg-gallery-image"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/C61E6392-F69E-4CA8-AE70-1C6BF4CEB9EA.jpg" width="691" height="1229" loading="lazy" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/C61E6392-F69E-4CA8-AE70-1C6BF4CEB9EA.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/C61E6392-F69E-4CA8-AE70-1C6BF4CEB9EA.jpg 691w"></div><div class="kg-gallery-image"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_0883.jpg" width="921" height="1229" loading="lazy" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/IMG_0883.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_0883.jpg 921w" sizes="(min-width: 720px) 720px"></div><div class="kg-gallery-image"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_3369-1.jpg" width="1279" height="853" loading="lazy" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/IMG_3369-1.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w1000/2024/05/IMG_3369-1.jpg 1000w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_3369-1.jpg 1279w" sizes="(min-width: 720px) 720px"></div></div><div class="kg-gallery-row"><div class="kg-gallery-image"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_3445.jpg" width="1279" height="959" loading="lazy" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/IMG_3445.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w1000/2024/05/IMG_3445.jpg 1000w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/IMG_3445.jpg 1279w" sizes="(min-width: 720px) 720px"></div><div class="kg-gallery-image"><img src="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/JfI3ETUmSYyBUbPUIJTVzA-1.jpg" width="921" height="1229" loading="lazy" alt="Inside the Launch: Snaju Houston Datacenter" srcset="https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/size/w600/2024/05/JfI3ETUmSYyBUbPUIJTVzA-1.jpg 600w, https://blog.snaju.com/content/images/2024/05/JfI3ETUmSYyBUbPUIJTVzA-1.jpg 921w" sizes="(min-width: 720px) 720px"></div></div></div></figure><p><strong>Launch Celebration:</strong></p><p>The successful deployment of the datacenter was celebrated with a gathering of team members, stakeholders, and partners.
